Millville Means Business Profile

Millville Glass & Door has been Millville’s go-to for glass and doors for over six decades. “Most of our work is commercial, storefronts and glass for businesses,” says co-owner Mike Harvey. “But we also do residential windows and doors, shower enclosures, tabletops and auto glass,” he says.

 Mike is a retired Millville policeman. His wife, Jen was also a city employee, but she left for the glass business. Mike ran the business with his dad since 2007. He and Jen took over when Dad retired, around 5 years ago.

 “If a customer isn’t happy, we get somebody out immediately to make it right. Our customers appreciate that,” Mike says. They also try to be as fair with pricing and as quick as possible with planning and delivery. “Everybody wants it yesterday, we respect that,” Mike says.

 They’re also not afraid of a challenge. Recently, they installed old stained glass panels poured into concrete at the Parish of All Saints. They had been preserved from the old St. John’s school and had been in storage. “Some said it couldn’t be done. Well, our guys figured it out. And it’s really beautiful,” Jen explains.
