The Millville Development Corp. aka Glasstown Arts District and Main Street Millville is very excited to launch its first Kickstarter project!
On Wednesday, March 4, the organization is launching a fundraising project through the popular Kickstarter program to "Tile the Town!"
The goal is to raise $2,500 in 30 days from people all over the country. Professional area artists will be participating by painting two large 12 inch by 12 inch ceramic tiles. They will be competing for cash prizes and all tiles will be on view to the public when the project is done.
Donors to Kickstarter will receive a BIG thank you and/or one or more coaster-size hand painted tiles as rewards. All the details are in the Kickstarter link.
When the large tiles are completed, they will be permanently displayed on the facade of participating building owners.
This is an exciting new public art project and great exposure for the artists and for Millville's Glasstown Arts District.
