Mission Statement and Core Values: The Millville Police Department believes in the dignity and worth of all people.  We are committed to providing high quality, community-oriented police services with sensitivity, protecting constitutional rights, problem solving, teamwork, openness and continuous improvement as we plan for the future and strive to lead the police profession.      Divisions  Approximately 100 employees of The Millville Police Department maintain a Uniform Patrol, Investigations, Logistics and Records Divisions.    Uniform Patrol is the largest division and works staggering 8 and 12 hour shifts to provide constant police services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to the approximate 28,000 residents and all businesses that comprise the City of Millville.    The Investigations Division encompasses several Detectives who primarily investigate the more serious and most violent of crimes. They are available at all times of the day and night.    The Logistics Division is responsible for all police equipment and other administrative functions including the NJSACOP Accreditation Program. Logistics consists of The Traffic Safety, Court Liaison, Megan’s Law, Juvenile and Training Units.    The Record Division’s duties include the management of all police records and are responsible for the Information and Technology Unit. In addition, The Records Division oversees Animal Control and The Evidence Unit.     Within the various divisions of the department, other units have been created to target drug activity and neighborhood street crimes that affect our resident’s quality of life.
